Types of computer Virus

There different types of computer Virus but today I'll talk about 3 

Which are:

1)  Boot sector virus

2)  Polymorphic Virus

3)  Resident Virus

1) Boot sector virus:

          This was written by Basit and Amjad Farooq Alvi.

          This type of virusis a malware and its is so bad that it infects the the sector of storage where startup is found.

          It copies the master boot program to another location on the hard disk.

          It gets infected when it boots up or gets the infected floppy disk💾.

Examples of these viruses are:

--Michelangelo

--Stoned

2) Polymorphic Virus:

          It was written by Mark Washburn.

          It's a harmful malware, it change its self making it hard for the antivirus to get the malware. The malware can be gotten or it's evolution can be: change of name, Compression or encryption.

Examples of this virus are:

--UpolyX

--VIRLOCK

--BANGLE

--VIBFUS

--URSNIF

3) Resident Virus:

           This virus was written by Basit and Amjad Farooq Alvi.

           It's a virus that stores itself in the memory, which allows it to infect other files even when the main program is not open or running.

          Once the virus is placed it can infect the diskette or drive, and it can spread itself to other computers. That uses that drive.
